There was so much I liked about this book–the idea, the general plot line, the characters, the setting. But the pacing was off and kept pulling me out of the story. Sometimes it seemed to rush through too quickly, some things were not clear enough. And I felt the dialog was off–the voice didn’t sound like a teen boy. I thought the ending was a little predictable.

But despite those issues, the things I liked, I really liked. In the end I guess I’d recommend it but with a warning to those who are picky readers that you’re going to hit some bumps.
